Hi everyone, and welcome to this blog which will give you all the information you’ll need to take part in the BBC’s “Stargazing LIVE” event in January! Keep checking back here for details of events being held here in Cumbria.
At the top of the page you’ll see tabs for each of the astronomical societies in Cumbria. Clicking on a tab will take you to a page where you’ll find full details of what that group is doing to support the “Stargazing LIVE” programmes. Already being planned are observing nights in Kendal, Carlisle and Cockermouth, and there’ll be an exhibition in Cockermouth too.
